Visit with Tanger Safar some of the oldest coffee plantations at the foot of Mount Meru to introduce you to the history of coffee cultivation, the different stages of coffee production, from the planting of the coffee trees to the harvesting and processing of the beans. You will learn about organic farming and fair trade standards. You can taste a variety of coffee blends, learn about the different roasting and brewing methods, and after lunch, enjoy what may be your first home-roasted coffee.
