When to visit Arusha National Park

The park can be visited anytime. The peak tourist season is from June to October, which is also considered the dry season. During this time, the weather is generally sunny and warm, with little rainfall, making it the perfect time to enjoy game drives, guided walking safaris and to see the wildlife.
Other tourists prefer to visit during the rainy season which is from November to May. During this time, the weather can be unpredictable, with heavy rainfall and strong winds. The park during this time is also known for its bird watching opportunities, with over 400 bird species.
